Now that David Sanders seems to be trending

Either OSU’s way or UGA’s, NIL is a much bigger issue than the portal will ever be (although they go hand in hand). We can count on one hand how many elite players we have gotten since NIL and count on both hands and feet how many elites are going to those with deep pockets.

nah, portal is way bigger issue than NIL. Put controls on the portal will curtail most of the craziness. THere is only soo much $$ that will be spent on highschool players before this becomes 'wasted' money. too many high dollar players on one team will become an issue on itself.

Free Agency and College Game don't really mesh. Something has to give. School spirit is real. There has to be a line.
Wish there were a better Minor League NFL in-betweener than UFL or whatnot.
"All In" only has NIL as components, not the bigger buy-in of what that continues to represent here.
Go Tigers.

Nil is the bigest problem with the portal and recruiting. Can you blame a kid for going to school somewhere offering 6 or 7 figures? Not saying every school isn’t paying but the haves can afford to pay the depth kids along with stars.

There will never be another elite college football team without use of the portal. High school recruiting alone will not get it done anymore. Dabo can Continue to be a stubborn ### about this and it’s only gonna hurt this program.

about them as a person
and doesn't care more about CFP trophies.
Everyone other than Kirby Smart is saying and doing anything possible to get their first ring
** in a lot of ways NIL is just gross and these guys that think they are hot shots now are just being preyed upon , only a handful of the 5stars will actually go pro .

Probably not your intention but don’t make it look like Kirby cares for his people- he’s the biggest “win at all cost” coach there is. He’s just doing it now so he can pass Nick one day.

Winning is everything. Ask Brandon Streeter what Dabo cares more about. Winning or each and every players future. Stupid post. Every major coach is about WINNING first and foremost. Self and family preservation.

Pains me to say this but I agree with the dawg. We’re paying Dabo to win games and build a successful, sustainable program, willing to adapt with the changing times of college football. I do not want to see Clemson Football relegated to the likes of Nebraska or a SoCon program, all the while patting him and ourselves on the backs, saying, "but hey, we've got great young men who want to be here gosh darn it. They deserve a trophy!"

Free education, money (and potentially lots of it for pumping a pizza joint), being developed to the best of your abilities for a shot at the NFL and millions there. You have a strange idea of "preyed upon."

Recruit, pay the players a salary (and let them get their NIL), then shutdown transfers (free agency) unless a coach is replaced or for graduates.
If a player quits a school, he/she sits out a year and loses that year eligibility. There has to be consquences.

David Sanders isn’t trending anywhere yet. Wait until he makes his visit to Clemson. At worst we are two and maybe still number 1.
