Old baseball facilities will cost us

The current ballpark is an eyesore compared to what other teams have. Recruiting is hurt by the facilities shown to recruits for sure. Build a new one asap to get inline with the other top programs in the ACC.

I have never been there but from what I have seen in pictures and on television, it looks top notch to me. I don't think many teams in the ACC have better, if any. The SEC is a different matter. Most all are top of the line.

And how exactly would that have helped yesterday? Just curious because before that game DKS was not discussed as being in shambles.

A UNLV ###. coach was filming our stadium and grounds crew the game before we played them. He was very impressed. The players area on the other hand looks like a third world country.

Our recruiting has been good but not where it should be. Our facilities will be updated phase #2 soon. I still do not think that will help recruiting. Our problem is deeper than recruiting!

I think they should consider relocating the baseball stadium to the west side of lake hartwell, so that students can catch HRs in the lake. (like Candlestick park)
It would improve the student interaction and allow the football program more room to expand around Death Valley.
I also think they should build a new basketball arena on the West side of Lake Hartwell that had open views of the lake, Death Valley and the rest of the campus.
Clemson's campus is a tremendous asset. Why not use it to our advantage?
