ineligible for the upcoming season right. he wasn't kicked off the team. He's likely trying to get his academics in order at JuCo and come back.
So are all of you who are trashing him going to pat him on the back and get his autograph when he's successful again.

I have not responded to any posts bashing Mike. It's not fair. nobody here knows what's really going on in his personal life. We all deal with adversity differently. Breaks my heart really to see all the bashing.

I think the bashers are just jealous that Bellamy has so much Talent yet needs to grades. I could only dream of being considered a 5 star talent and be able to play on GODS FIELD.

Just a question. I don't know the system. Just seems "safer" than letting him out on his own at JUCO.

If I am not Mistaken if he goes down to JUCO to get his grades up he wont have to skip a year of eligbility when he comes back to Clemson.

You have to fail two semesters to get icked out...

You fail one semester, then youre on probation. After that, you have to make a 2.4 (as of 3yrs ago) each semester after to remain in school. Once your GPA goes above 2.2, youre off probation. He mustve bombed two semester in a row.

I agree that all of the negative comments are out of line. It does seem, however, that he's not going to be coming back to Clemson based on Dabo's comments and the report from O&W with the headline "Mike Bellamy academically ineligible, will not return to Clemson" and saying Mike Bellamy’s up-and-down Clemson career is over. I wish the kid well wherever he ends up.

He won't be back at Clemson. He will wind up at a Florida school. I don't think he's wanted back.

kid and admire his talent. There is a twinge of anger there, too, though. It seems he just never got his act together all the way and that is detrimental to any team. I wish him well. If he gets it together he may have a chance to shine, but it will most definitely be somewhere else.

Why Wouldn't Bellamy Stay at Clemson To Get his Grades up?

I hope he does well, but he is leaving because he can't cut it at Clemson academically. IF he wants to play both football and study then that is why he is going JUCO.
I think he is risking injury doing this and would be well served by staying at Clemson, get his grades up and and frankly grow up more around people that are trying to help him.
I expect he will be in the USFL next year or two.

that was enrolled in a D-1 school, was declared academically ineligible, left said D-1 school, went to a JUCO, returned to original D-1 school eligible to play football again, and played football again at that same school.
I'll be waiting.

't happened? or just because it hasn't happened does that mean it can't happen? All i know is that nobody feels the sting of what happened any more that Mike. Clemson "fans" who are piling on after the deal is already done only reveal what they really love. They care more about bragging rights in front of SCar fans than they do about the young men playing the game. And if you deny that then please tell me the last post you made about a non- athlete freshman drop out being a disappointment to you.
