I think we lost several coaches mainly due to DJ. Many folks, including me, were a little tired of seeing our dumbed down offense running the same old predictable plays over and over. DJ’s resume since then has shown that maybe they were just running the only things he could do. And even that was not run very well.

Fair point, but if you are going to call something a masterful coaching job of a QB, shouldn’t the credit go to the coach who was actually responsible for him?

Also didn’t hurt that was the same season that Shipley had his best season at RB which took a lot of pressure off DJU.
Also the defense was 20x better than whatever FSU trots out onto the field with the exception of the Wake Forest game in 2022

And I was shamed and TDed for calling that guy "Big Stinko". After watching his straight up running style, I coined the nickname "Big Plinko." (Amazing how much he looks like a Plinko chip from the Price is Right) You guys chastised me once again for that. Fellow t-netters were labeled as racist good ole boys when some began to come around to see what I saw VERY early on. I did not back down. I have previously doubled down on my criticism but now I triple down. Although he may be a "nice kid" as some have previously spewed like a well shaken NIL bought and paid for Dr. Pepper, I say he is cancer. He cost us dearly. Maybe he cost us some good coaches. Perhaps he cost us development time for Cade or another QB. He may even be responsible for a few losses. But I'm 100% positive of....wasted opportunity. Opportunity to win more while players' eligibilities quickly ran out. Opportunity for us to recruit higher quality replacements for those players. Opportunity for everyone associated with Clemson to remain ALL-IN. So, I say bon voyage Big Stinko. Can't wait to see you in a few weeks. Let's just see if the criminole fans and coaches will be naive enough to give you enough "time to develop" like we did. That way we may pay you back for all that you have given us.

The name calling was mild at best. If you heard me yelling at the TV every Saturday (during the season) for 2 years, you would have said I needed a round room with padded walls. Or at the very least, crayons, some play-doh, and a safe space, snowflake.
