Rewatching the game, gotta say I’m impressed with Marcus Freeman and the ND players. Loved seeing them help our tigers up on multiple plays despite what must have been a very frustrating game for them.
Same with Freeman, that dude kept his cool the whole time. Good luck to ND going forward.
Also, that is the most fun running back performance from a tiger I can remember from Mafah since Spiller/Davis/Ellington era. Etienne and Gallman were also obviously amazing but they never had to carry an offense on their back like Mafah and the others

Always liked Freeman and Hartman. Seem to be class acts.

I saw Cade help up a ND player then saw Hartman help up Wiggins after his big run. I noticed that during the game and it had some feel good about it. Used to see that more often, respect for the other team. Nowadays, its watch me prance and dance.

For Freeman than I ever did when Brian Kelly was their coach.

I was kind of hoping to see LSU win so some random Bama Tyler could call out Nick. LOL
But when it is all said and done, I am still happy because Kelly took another shot to the gut.
I wonder if he said "Congratulations, good game" to Nick with a southern drawl?

I wanted Bama to win because I think they are the only team that can beat Georgia in the SEC Championship.

Didn't have a single bad interaction, either before the game or after.
I really can't stand Notre Dame, but I must give credit to their fan base (at least in this limited sample size).
Can't say the same for a LOT of other teams we play. NC State comes to mind...

It was nice to see. ND is too storied of a program to have Brian Kelly's stink all over it.

Freeman was a fine player and seems to be a good leader. I suspect he will do well as their coach.

Used to happen all the time, defender would knock you into next week and then give you a hand up. Maybe even a tap on the helmet, too. But now more than likely the defender will stand over you and flex and scream, or at the very least prance around... look at me! look at me! And all the showboating when a player scores a TD, nobody did that. That's why when Renfrow caught that ball vs Bama and just casually flipped it to the ref... man, that was old school right there.
edit for typo

I also really appreciated them not coming out of their tunnel until most of our team had run down the hill. Most other teams have come out right after the cannon fires.
Respect for ND.

Disappointing to see a few fans(possible students) taunting Hartman after the game as he walked off the field. Look up Clemson Barstool on IG. They were showing it proudly.

Last year after the loss at ND you had fans flipping off our players on the field and acting like azzholes in the stadium too. Guess what? Kids. Not adult fans.

I thought the same. I noticed when Hartman made the long TD run and hit Mukuba hard in the endzone he checked and made sure he was okay after the hit. Almost looked like he was apologizing for it. Noticed that kind of small gesture all game.

When I went on the field post game a few walking away from the play gave me high fives (I said good game so it wasn't out of the blue). Their fans were mostly nice loud to they travel well. Back to the on the field thing them and Syracuse are the only ones who ive been able to talk to post game I even got a head band off a Syracuse player obviously in all friendly acounters
