Did he lose a bet or is he admitting regret for not choosing Clemson?

Arguably the greatest yardbird to ever rock the off red and black.
Lattimore is such a class act. I wish we had gotten him on our squad.
Hate that he had all those injuries

He was a class act, and I wish he had chosen Clemson. It was painful for me so see his career ending injury. He probably wonders what his career would have been like at Clemson….
I wanted Herschel Walker to come to Clemson, along with Emmitt Smith!
When you move out of state, and have family from both schools, it is easier to tolerate the coots, than living with them in SC. But on the field against Clemson, it is still the biggest game of the year, and there is no substitute for a Clemson victory!
Go Tigers!

I long ago mentioned here on T-Net that Marcus is the only coot that I've had respect for and that I actually liked the guy bc IMO he is a good human being!!!

Lattimore has a lot of Class (unlike the rest of the coots).
But, you could tell it was slightly painful to say these things, but give him his due… he could carry tge rock!!!
Go Tigers!!!

Like Lattimore, I pull for USCar. I would love to see Clemson and the 'Cookies be undefeated coming into our rivalry game, but, of course, we need to win.

You must live out of state and not have to live or work around those morons.
Thanks Marcus though. Hopefully we play that last part on loud speaker the entire last week of November for our defense at practice.

Not going to judge but I sure don’t understand. I find great joy in every coot loss, with rare exceptions occasionally when they play UGA or UNC. Even that is dependent on circumstances.
For example, if the coots upsetting UGA may keep UGA from winning a national championship but only gains SCAr another mediocre 5-7 season, it then ok to be accepting of a coot win. I have a chart in my head which lets me know when it’s ok for them to win, similar to how football coaches have the decision tree chart on when to go for two vs. kicking the extra point.

Lattimore is definitely a classy individual! I remember watching him at Byrnes marveling at the talent he had. He looked like a man playing with kids. I wished then that he would become a Tiger, but it wasn’t to be. I never pulled for the Gamecocks, but I always pulled for Lattimore! When he got hurt against Tennessee, I believe, it was heartbreaking for me. I’m not sure what he is doing now, but I hope he is successful. GO TIGERS!!!

He is doing poetry now. Marcus is a humble guy and never wanted the spotlight and attention he received is what I’ve been told. Just a really good guy. His injuries were truly unfortunate.

All I know I don't like Chickenlina....thats the way its just been.....thats way it just is.
They don't fit in my life...I don't believe I could ever take one to be my wife. Beating them...no matter who they have adds unrivaled joy to my life.
I know my dislike for them may sound like pure hate. I believe in justifiable well deserved righteous fate. With that said....its only natural and righteous that Clemson runs the state.

Liked Lattimore ever since he played for Byrnes. That said, see we have sort of a loose definition of "poetry" on here.

Marcus Lattimore, Conner Shaw & Dylan Thompson . All 3 are Godly men who are more of a Dabo-like player than a Spurrier-like player.

His Dad rented a house beside my mom in Lyman. He signed a few things for me to give a childhood friend for his Bday. Like most here stated him and his family are great people. Also like most I hate how it ended for him.
