I remember when the offense was explosive under Chad, with Boyd and Watson
It seemed to be balanced under Scott and Elliot with Trevor, still explosive at times, but efficient..
However, Riley and Cade just aren’t clicking.
I don’t know if it’s more Cade, or more Riley.
Seems the plays called are not suited to our offense strengths, or perhaps Cade’s strengths. Bubble screens aren’t working, I know that much..
Defense is solid, but they can only last so long when our offense is inefficient, and we aren’t as deep right now as we were in our recent championship years.
WR’s have talent, glad Williams is healthy, Briningstool is good, Randall has a lot of potential but just can’t put it all together, and the rest are young and unproven. Really would have liked to see Wesco involved more in this game..
So, that leaves Cade and Riley. I think Riley needs to call plays more suited to our personnel, Cade needs to take care of the ball better, and stop under throwing the ball.. I think we’ve got the personnel to have a great season, win the ACC , and see where we go from there. I still believe in Dabo, he’s a championship coach and brought Clemson to new heights. This loss stings, I'm sure there is blame to go around and they will learn from this..

I dont think ot was cade or Riley. Cade looked like a completely different player today. Decisive. Mostly accurate. Scheme looked fresh. Antonio williams was the only P5 WR on the field today. Randall and Turner are net negatives. Time to see the freshmen instead of giving turner more opportunities to drop passes and not look for balls on deep routes. Randall cant even line up right. So so disappointed in the WR play and they let us down every drive and stalled drives. I was impressed by cade and the o line and riley. WRs continue to let the team down. No wins on contested balls, too passive. Tee wouldve had balls in throats. Time to see the freshmen.

Interesting. Please tell me where I can see a replay of the game you watched. I sure missed all that decisiveness and accuracy that Cade showed.
