I was really curious about something so I apologize for it being out of place .
Do any of you believe in destiny or some form of predetermined outcome or do u think life is ever changing and outcomes are purely just luck or chance?
Again, sry for being off topic but I was very curious. I figure most of you are college educated and I assume the answers might be worth hearing.

Life is about choices, and humanity has but one significant choice to make. Who will you serve, Good or Evil. Just because someone is collge educated doesn't mean that they know anything. There are those educated sorts that will tell you that humanity and life is the evolution of a random event. If you believe that life is a random event, good luck with it. I don't think I was ever in a lab that you could mix a bunch of random variables together a come out with anything other than a mess. Statistically, the probability of planet being able to support life as the earth does is off the chart. You create your own destiny and there is no such thing as luck or chance. There are consequences involved with choices we make both good and bad.

God gave humans brains and the ability to make choices and decisions while we're here on Earth. He gave us this ability because he wants us to choose good and to follow Him through Jesus and He wants that choice to be each individual's decision, not His. If there was any such thing as destiny or predetermined outcome, there would be no such thing as evil on Earth because God wouldn't allow it.

where we are now is a result of the choices we've made and circumstances surrounding our lives.
However, I also believe God is sovereign and Superintending Human History. Everything is going according to his plan.
