Yea I saw the HT score on MaxPreps and just knew that had to have been a typo. I think they had 60 plus at half. That used to be a great rivalry and game. Not sure what is going on.

I don’t trust MaxPreps anymore. They had our score off by 22 higher for one team and 7 higher for the other. Just plain wrong (a game I was at).

The NW coach should be fired today for running up that type score. No excuse for it. In the old days you did not have such unsportsmanlike scores. And don't give me that total BS about how it's your job to stop me ! You can run up the middle 3 times and punt with your reserves in the game.

Forest in 1981. That one could EASILY have eclipsed a hundred, had Danny Ford wanted it to. We were up 56-0 after the 1st play of the 2nd half, which was a 75 yard Homer Jordan to Perry Tuttle TD pass. So, we toned it down considerably, to "only" score 26 more points in the entire 2nd half beyond that time in the game.

Not if I was the coach. I’m not quitting on my players by laying down in regards to play calling. 2nd and 3rd’s would be in running the same things the 1’s were running. They bust their butt in practice they will get to play, and if you can’t stop us then crank your bus and head on home.

Complaining about running up the score, Ha, what a joke! try sitting in Doak Campbell stadium getting pummeled by the Seminoles, when the only excitement is a blocked field goal and running it back for a score, only to be chased down by the kicker at the goal line!. Believe that game was 59-0, they could’ve scored 100. This isn’t playground ball, the scoreboard is on for a reason! Hope your feelings aren’t hurt!

Yes that game and the drive back sucked. 1993 ended up 57-0. Bently was the kicker that ran our guy down trying to score.

i can not stand northwestern but you are clueless. they played the entire 2nd half with scrubs and a running clock. even the scrubs deserve to play when possible. they practice every day also. love the liberal bullsh!t though.

It was close the first half but Dorman blew it open second half. With less than 2 minutes left Dorman went to the victory formation. Greenville calls a timeout for some reason with no chance to win. So Dorman lines up and runs a running play and the running back breaks loose for around a 70 yard touchdown. Final 53-28. Dorman has 2 good running backs but their passing game needs work.

B.T. is a S.P. Stallion.
Meeks was a Bearcat. Rock Hill does have a TE Currently playing for Nick Saban at Alabama. They have a kid that use to play for them that's the pre-season POY in the Big South- Nari Gaither.
There may not be a ton of talent; but there is talent that goes through RHH. It's just not being used "efficiently" enough.

Bearcats have not been the same since Jim Ringer left! Take heed to those who think it's just a matter of "deserving it" or "because of who we are"!
Rock Hill was ranked Nationally in 2002 with a team; you just couldn't beat! In 2004, their OL was in the front page of the Charlotte-Observer because they weighed as much as had similar measurables to the Carolina Panthers!
It made a little buzz nationally; but not too much. They went on and won another State Championship that year as well!
***Note: South Pointe opened and yes, it hurt. But, what hurt more was losing Jim Ringer no doubt! Legendary coach that kind of got "ran off"! That's a long story!
