Typical TNET made up hysteria based off no actual facts
Its up to the networks. Go ask Ohio State and Penn State fans.

Clemson declined to play the game on Friday. Now we are gonna take our medicine. How about we just win the dang game! Dabo will tell you he and the players don't care when or where. Just show up an be loud. Lose this game and nobody will remember what time it happened only that it happened!!

Ron Cherry is coming out of retirement just to referee this game.

Okay, time for some honesty and a reality check.

I cannot imagine a fan base bellyaching so badly over the time they play a home game, when their said team crapped the bed 2X's this year and has played badly enough to lose 2 more to un-ranked opponents.
Truth is, the deck is always going to be stacked against the ACC and also Clemson until we get out of this crap show of a conference. So if we want better game times Clemson has to force the issue by killing everything in front of us.
Whether perception or reality, ESPN has created the narrative that the ACC is the lowest conference of the power 4 right now. Mainly because there is no consistency in the conference or in Clemson. You could say it is because the conference has parity, but any time ACC schools play anyone with a pulse out of conference, they lose or have a bad showing.
Georgia beat Clemson, badly in the second half, and Georgia is not the world beaters we all expected, they are a better than average team, but not world beaters like we thought early on. Louisville, beat Clemson like a drum for 4 quarters after Clemson was coming off a bye and Louisville was not even bowl eligible at the time and just lost this past weekend to an awful 3-7 Stanford team. Clemson also played badly enough to drop games vs VT and Pitt who are both Un-ranked.
Look I know the ACC is down, and the SEC and BIG10 will always get precedent over the ACC, because of money. But if Dabo and Clemson had taken care of business throughout the season, like they were supposed to, this game would probably be in a better time slot.
