Is Dabo the right person to lead our football program?
I’m all in on Dabo, no caveats.
The media loves to bury us and our coach.
I wouldn’t be surprised for us to make the playoff (given the state of the ACC and automatic bid).
We very well could play UGA again, maybe even at home, should they lose the SEC Championship (which is hard to win).

Yes, but he should not be considered untouchable, and he needs to make more changes to the staff, and he needs to start using the portal like the rest of the coaches do who have successful programs.

Seriously recruit the portal. Best has to be Srandard again, so that would mean a massive change in staff and roster.

3 and 4 are where significant improvements will be made.
Dabo’s desire to be a developmental program can still be true without using the portal, but it WILL require him to bring in the best position coaches that can actually develop guys. Starts with Grish

I don't think it would be terrible if he left, but pressure needs to be there and quick pressure. Basically, make results this year / next or your contract is bought out. Clemson has the money to do these wholesale changes, take the penalty if needed for his buy out. I appreciate all that he fights for, but his long game of you will, finding the underdog, loyal to his player, hasn't been a winning mentality in quite some time. Ultimately, there may be a time when there is a collegiate jv to pros, and then college sports come back as true amateur sports, but that isn't today. Too much money behind it now, and he should know that (with his salary). Time to say thanks and try something different.

Why? Dabo has lead the Tigers to like a 5-12 record against teams ranked in the top 25 since the January 2020 to LSU in the natty . Sorry to all Dabo loyalists that are more enamored with him than the Tifers as a whole, but that kind of performance deserves a strong look if not a change. Clemson is bigger than any one man..

Given his past successes, Dabo should be given a long leash. But if this season ends up anything less than a 10 wins season with a win over gamecocks, he needs to make more staff changes and open up use the portal to fill weaknesses. Otherwise, just step down. He has nothing left to prove. At This point almost looks like sour grapes against the portal. Continuing to promote nepotism in the program and rewarding, your roommate and buddies with high paying jobs they are not qualified to do is not fair to the fans. Clemson nation Will forever be grateful to Dabo, but if you’re not willing to do your job while still accepting the paycheck, you need to step aside

He needs to hire more proven coaches, namely at WR and RB. No more of this friends and family plan. It isn't working. And yes, he must use the portal to fill some roster gaps at QB, WR and RB.
