Yes would be good a guard off bench, but he would play a lot.
If JZ doesn't come back he could start next to Dillon. No problem with just one guy a little small. It is only a year since he is a senior.

Height has nothing to do with skill. It has a lot do do with on court performance and team success.
The last 5'10 player we had was a quick and decent defender, but opposing guards took full advantage of his height.
Sure there are exceptions, but chatgpt says there are only 6 players innthe nba 5'10 or shorter. I would prefer for our starting guards to be at least above 6'1.

It’s a liability for our defense. Nick Honor could knock down shots with anyone but his height was a huge problem for us on defense.

Guy has Girard type range. If he was a liability defensively because of not quick, don't see how this guy would be any worse for his size. Could use him as a spark plug off the bench.
