I had the pleasure of flagging that horrible post and...

it was immediately sent to the cornfield.
I'll argue about details and rejoice when I agree but when someone levies a personal attack on our coaches, their staff or our players we need 5 good people to hit that little flag at the bottom of their screen and vanquish that post to oblivion.
Please stay and be one of those five rather than abandoning Tnet. If all the good people leave only the trash will remain.

It’s been going on for awhile now. CDS brought us 2 championships, and all the recruiting, facility’s, etc. Clemson has reached unprecedented success under Coach Swinney. Not every decision is gonna be a home run. Heck even in off years in the win-loss column the Tigers have a respectable showing. I think a lot of people complaining are fair weather fans. Obviously don’t remember having 6-6 years, 5-7….
I’m not sold on a lot but CDS deserves some slack, If the Tigers beat Tennessee Dec. 30th that’s a 12-2 season. Let’s go Tigers! If Cade gets this W, that is gonna be great for his development and confidence going into next season, we need this!

No one expects Dabo to be perfect.

But they do expect his performance to be consistent with the salary he is paid and the many advantages he has here. For the second year in a row, we haven't met expectations on the field.
Pointing those failures out doesn't prevent one from being grateful for the success we've had.

So 12-2, ACC championship and Orange Bowl bid is not successful.
You should move on and jump on the Alabama or Georgia bandwagon.

JK, what exactly are the expectations? Is it that we go undefeated and make the playoffs every year? If we go with the five Dabo stated goals for his program, I believe he made them all last year and will hit 4 of 5 this year if we win our last game.
I would find it kind of hard to accept that going undefeated in conference, winning the conference championship, winning the Orange Bowl, and finishing in the Top 10 would still not be considered a successful season even if I was a little disappointed that we didn't make the playoffs. And also add how well our team is performing in the classroom and graduating and I think you really do have all of the elements to call this a successful season, but maybe that's just me.

When will it be okay to make the same sort of observations about the basketball program?

I asked a question that was completely based in logic and facts.

But people got butt hurt because of course you can’t question Dabo’s Christianity although there are tens of thousands if not hundreds of thousands of people that do that every day in the sports world as fans and in the media and even among Christian alumni in our own Fanbase because I have talked to them. Including some on this board, they just do it in a less blatant, direct way like I do. Because this board is full of children and you can’t be open and direct and honest, you have to basically post some thing that talks to people as if they’re children that are irrational that can’t have adult conversations.
And I didn’t say he was not a Christian. I simply asked the question about how Christians behave or not behave and the way they talk and their actions and some things recently involving Dabo like pride and arrogance and stubbornness and not recruiting kids that Clemson recruited very heavily that are now in the portal because supposedly that would hurt our culture but Dabo thought they fit our culture a year ago.
Anything that requires a little critical thought a little maturity can’t be discussed here. Because this place is run by children.

I agree - Tnet ain't what it used to be - neither is Clemson

for that matter - neither am I . . . .
But this place definitely has a stench that has been growing for quite a while.
Don't know if I have a solution, but starting with cutigerbob® wouldn't be a misstep.

I’m a knucklehead sometimes, drinking and posting, I get nostalgic and miss being on campus 99-02. But I agree, some folks just having nothing good to say. But I’ve also read some amazing posts from some great people. Joe21 comes to mind. A lot of us have shared some great things in our lives here, what I’m saying is, gotta have patience and take the good with the bad, it’s the internet.

Well, Griner should not have come home before the Marine and she broke the law having drugs in her bags. Plus, she has said she is not a fan of the US and would not stand for the National Anthem.
So yeah, F her and the WNBA dykes who ##### about salary when they wouldn't have jobs if it wasn't for the NBA.

My personal opinion..But politics and religion should not be anywhere near sports when there are over 10,000 different religions and not everyone practices the same faith.
Over half are older than Christianity, which is one of the youngest.
Who am I to say who’s right and who’s wrong? So, I do me and do not discuss my beliefs/politics with anyone.
There’s a reason most world battles have been fought over Church and politics.

Dabo certainly is not anti-Christian. But as a Christian, I’m getting a little concerned about him. He made Christianity the center of the culture, and that’s fine by me as long as he gets away with it. But he has opened the door for people at large to question everything he does and view every misstep as standard Christian behavior. And as time has gone on he’s developed some traits that just aren’t a very good witness and I wish he would either clean those up or stop putting himself forward as an example of Christianity, that’s all. Is that so much to ask?
When I met him the Spring before he became HC I was really, really impressed with this super friendly young Christian man. I’ve watched him change, and it worries me for him, not the program. We’d win 10 games every year against the ACC, SoCon and MAC even with Satan as HC.
