Based off the attached article, I’d say that Coastal has a pretty amazing Return on Investment. 200k total in NIL for 56 wins. That’s $3571 per win. Very impressive. Coach Gilmore says LSU pays more than that for one player. Supposedly either South Carolina or Clemson (I’m extrapolating from the article) paid 2.5 million this year. Does anyone have an idea on what we paid?

Ghesh. That's an eye opener. Not unlike Dabo when he was building our dynasty. Got the correct coaches, identifying the diamonds and then polished them up through development. Only difference is nowadays, imo, is identifying those diamonds on the rental market.

No. Gilmore has won 26 (ish) games in a row and about to sweep LSU for its second CWS championship.

I thought that Gary Gilmore started the program at CCU and retired last year after 29 years as head coach and 1 natty. Isn’t Kevin Schnall now the HC?

He's retired but im sure still very much involved as a public figurehead. He built that program. I'd imagine he still participates in fundraisers etc.

Yep, Schnall is the coach. It just continues to amaze me that people think college athletes are public employees and knowledge of their NIL contract is and an open book for everyone to look at. What athletes earn in NIL money is their business.
