When it comes to the portal, I’ve been steadfast in my belief that Dabo knows best. We’re loaded at every position according to sources and should win the conference easily assuming no shenanigans by officials. I always figured it was best to leave that portal stuff to non-blue blood programs.
Anyhow, I’ve been looking at picking up a mail order bride and it dawned on me. How is using the portal any different? This isn’t the 2010’s anymore. If it’s OK to bring in a 33 year old Russian named Anastasia to fill that void in your life that apparently cant be filled by anyone you meet at Applebees on a Tuesday thru Friday night, it should be OK to bring in a kicker from the MAC or a left tackle from the SEC.
I’m guessing Dabo is just holding out a little longer like I’m holding off until after the election. I’d imagine bringing Anastasia over if we go to war against Russia would be almost as bad as being married to a Gamecock during football season. I don’t want to have to sleep with one eye open.
