I actually think he is talented. He does some things very well as a QB. And some things seems to be worked on. But should he have been drafted , certainly. Seems he is getting iced, maybe to bring him down a few notches?

Agree. And teams are shy about investing millions in players like Sanders. They also don't want someone who might divide the locker room and/or is hard to coach. Teams are loath to take a chance on these players, i.e. Johnny Manziel.

The NFL doesn’t “ice” players. The NFL is 32 separate teams and organizations that will do anything to gain a competitive advantage over each other, i.e., if any of those 32 thought he was worth it, and certainly if they thought he was a “steal” they would’ve drafted him. He isn’t a martyr or a victim; he simply lacks the upside to offset the drama for the price he was hoping for.

Sure, every single team could be wrong about his assessment, and the beautiful thing is he will get a chance to prove it to them.
