Next 4 games for clemson basketball

are yawn games. Coastal Carolina chanticleers, South Car St bulldogs, citadel bulldogs, florida st seminoles.
These are given games as these and win against these 4 teams will not help us much in RPI standings.

You must be kidding about FSU. They are the ACC freaking Champions.
Yes it is a totally different team and we may even be favored, but if we win it will be sweet.

i am talking about basketball, not football.
I guess you haven't been following basketball much, FSU is 5-4 this season with losses to south alabama, Mercer, Minnesota and a 25 point loss to Florida. May I tell you all these losses are home games for FSU.

if we win those games, it will help us get to the ncaa tournament. If we lose still it will help us with good SOS (Strength of Schedule) in RPI rankings

Plus Coastal as a road win would be welcome, no matter what their RPI...just as welcome as the road win in Columbia. And the Capons aren't ranked that much higher than Coastal.

Not like we have been exactly playing a weak non-conference schedule to date...
2 Top 10 teams, a perenially top team in Purdue..
Could make some sort of "all bets are off against rivals" argument with SC on the road, but we had absolutely no business losing that game

...ask Mizzou how weak they were in the Dance last year.
I know that obviously this isn't last year's Rattle team, but scheduling a team that got further than we did in the Dance last year is positive scheduling.
Which, I'm guessing, is what this thread was about ... I can't come up with another reason to start it.

We need to win as many as we can. ACC season could be tough this year with our young team. There are some mid-level ACC teams we should be able to compete with at home for sure and likely at their places.
