Admittedly, I was an early doubter (maybe not a doubter, but not sold either) on Kelly Bryant, but the more I watch his highlight film, and the more I realize that he was put in to run clock in mop up duty, the more I think I prejudged. I believe in our coaches and in our players, and he is my QB, too. You go Kelly! All in behind you and all of this team.

We will be behind Kelly, we know his success is the Tigers success. We will not compare him and hope the news media won't compare him to Deshaun. I hope the TV announcers will give him a chance without comparing him. Kelly, even if they do compare you...shake it off ... be yourself and don't try to be like Deshaun ... be YOU! We can only be ourselves ... Kelly get it done! Go Tigers!!!!! Get a W against Kent State ... don't overlook them ... stay focused.

Honestly, when Bryant was first announced as the starter- I was probably like some of you.
"really! was this the right move?!"
Lets look at the last couple years with Watson for example. I think pretty much everyone
knew our entire season hinged on the health and ability of DeShaun Watson. And if something
major happened, that was probably going affect our entire season- and probably in a negative
way. So the coaches had to pick and choose how to use him in certain circumstances. It was
like everytime he made a huge run, or took a big time hit. We were all holding our breathe.
Correct?
But I don't believe that to be the case in 2017. We may every well have 3+ Qbs who are capable
of getting it done. What does that mean for Bryant and Co.? Yes, the ability to "CUT IT LOOSE"
in just about every game or every play with out the worry of the season going down the drain
if one player goes down. It's called depth- and we may just have that in 2017.
And while Bryant is the 1st man up, there might not be a huge gap between him and Cooper/Johnson.
That indeed should create a more competitive edge allowing each guy, who ever it is- to bring
out his very, very best.
