Great D effort. Yeah, we fans wanted a shutout or only the 1 score, but the good of the long term team is more important than the short term satisfaction. Nice job Tigers.

Heard some sportscasters in a post-game blurb saying that the game was much closer than many expected, which means they looked at the final score, rather than watching the game. Shutouts are great, but running up the score to pad stats is a bogus mentality. Having our 2nd and 3rd team guys come out and get some playing time is invaluable down the stretch. Imo it's also a great recruiting tool to be able to tell a future Tiger that he will get playing time, rather than having to wait until his soph/junior year to see the field, while the first team runs up the score for individual awards. Beat Syracuse!
