Tigers slam No. 23 Pitt
The Well made the Tigers well again. Eight days after a disappointing road loss at Virginia, the Clemson basketball team returned to the Bon Secours Wellness Arena and knocked off No. 23 Pitt 73-60, the Tigers’ fourth Top 25 victory this season, the most by a Clemson team since the 1996-97 unit won five. I think our coach is proving again he and our teams beat the predictions every year. This is momentum for our program as they get a very nice arena and facilities next year.
I love this team because they never quit and hit their foul shots!

Okay, so the rest of our schedule looks.... dare I say it... favorable. So if we win the games "we are supposed to", the NCAA tournament is looking like it's in reach. Or am I just wearing orange colored glasses?

The slow start in December means that we'll have to finish strong to get in. Most of the pundits have us "on the bubble" or among the "first 4 out" right now, but with the way we've been playing it's certainly within reach. My guess is that we'd need to finish 12-6 or better in the ACC to have a realistic expectation of making the dance. This means we need to pull out 2 or 3 wins on the road & lose no more than 1 at home - which looks doable to me. Go Tigers & let's fill the Well!

Props to Judge Keller a the handful of true believers with Brownell and this team. I did not see respectability coming this year, but I am on board with us winning 2 of the 3 nest road games. Again congratulations team!

I think Brownell is a very good coach and I am thrilled to see us clicking like we have been since the new year. I must admit that I was down on the team after getting blown out by Georgia. I definitely didn't see this coming! I think we will make the NCAA Tournament if we continue to play well. Go Tigers!

Great win fellas. ..just so you know receiver Mike Williams was a standout basketball player at Lake Marion High but we need him well for the 2016 football season so don't even think about it lol.
