Tigers prepare for complex defense of Syracuse
If Clemson is going to sprint into the open week, the Tigers will need a big offensive performance Friday night against Syracuse. That means everyone from the offensive line to the quarterback to the running backs to the wide receivers and tight ends will need to be locked in as they face a complicated defensive scheme employed by the Orange. I could be wrong but I believe that the Case starting safeties are not playing due to injuries. I watched them against NC State and we will run them into the ground and once they close in we will go over the top. People don 't seem to understand that this team is 3-3, has not beaten anyone with any record, and their talent is miles behind ours. We take the game serious and like hired killers go in and do business!!

Don't know about Cuse DB injuries. But I mentioned the 3/3 record yesterday on another post. Their O and our D are a significant level of talent different. Your point about the same between their D and our O. It's also a matter of real differences against quality opponents makes out team more experienced this season.
If we do our jobs, execute, play disciplined football, we'll prevail with alot of margin, imo. Doubt they'll score more than 10. We should score well into the 30s, say 38.

My prediction was Tigers 39-Ciuse 6. I agree with your post and take a close look at the size and speed difference between these 2 teams.
Our closing speed, particularly on D has improved dramatically over the last few years. Go Tigers

The complex defense that is currently ranked 46th and giving up only 357 yards a game, almost 230 through the air? That defense? I know that Dungey is a decent quarterback and throws 100 times a game to Ishmael, but this defense is a different animal and Syrcacuse will find out tonight. The ONLY reason this team might not win by 34 is Dabo calling off the dogs, pretty much like he has in several other games this year. Syracuse's signature win is Pitt (2-4) and LOST to Middle Tennessee State AT HOME!!!!! 34-13 or so for the good guys.
