I'm fully expecting this kid to take a huge step forward this year. I do want to see Fuller and Choice be put to good use as well.

What a stable of thoroughbreds we have. Maybe the best in the country; certainly the ACC. Can't wait to see 28 streak again.

Wouldn't say "Thorobreds" exactly, but some very good backs that have the potential. With Gallman gone, it's their turn to step up especially Feaster. Fuller has shown he can do the job, everytime he goes in, he produces. Anxious to see how Feaster does when he gets more than 37 carries in 15 games.

Fuller is always seeming to fall forward. Even when he's stopped he gets you 3. And he shoots through the line like a bullet from a gun. Feaster is a specimen, and I expect him to also take a huge step forward this year.

I understand everyone expectations of Feaster and their confidence in Fuller after last year, but I remember Choice being ahead of Gallman before he blew out his knee. I think Choice is the one I want to see get back to full speed. I do think that Feaster has a chance to be All American and even a Heisman candidate.... this year or next.....

I like Choice but I have just never seen anything to make me think he will be more than a serviceable running back. I like Fuller alot and think he will do some great things this year!
Feaster, it's just a matter of time and he is going to be a star! People forget it took CJ Spiller a little time to develop and figure it all out.

Feaster is going to be fine.

I think a lot of us put an unreasonable expectation on him as a true freshman in our program. Almost anywhere else he would have been the starter. We have the luxury of letting these guys learn before we put them on the field a lot. Everything I read here on tigernet is consistent with what I hear from people who know him and his family. He needed to learn pass protection to see the field more. He's ready to see the field more now. I think he is another one of those factors the pundits are not figuring into things when they think about Clemson this year. If he stays healthy everyone will know who he is. Our staff doesn't waste talent like that.

Exactly. Had he been here when Hot Rod graduated, he would have likely been the guy playing amd working through the lumps as Choice and Gallman did. Instead he came on to a team that didn't need to push him into starting role because of the experience ahead of him. I like how we are sitting, besides, I really don't see the staff giving him #28 if he wasn't legit.

I'm SO ready to see #28 slashing through opposing defenses again. Really looking forward to this season.

Great to hear I expect big things out of him just like fuller and DW spiller wouldn't give this kid his number is he didn't see something in him. I knew he had surgery but idk he was out that long. It's amazing he got in shape for fall camp to even compete. Good thing we had gallman but I think Fiester is going to be the break away runner we have missed since spiller left he could take a play younwouldnt think 80 yards to the house. I still remember first game day we held was against GT 11 and 12 ranked and they threw spiller a screen made 2 GT guys break their ankles and go 80 yards for the TD. I hope and think Fiester can be that guy!

Man that spiller GT screen is still the single most athletic play I have ever seen! I have since shown that play to some of my out of town friends(more NFL guys than college), which was the beginning of them becoming tiger fans.
I will never forget how everyone around me was first in shock almost, then seeing that play closer up on replay board going absolutely nuts!

With the certain changes on our offense this year, reading this article gives me confidence as a Tiger faithful! We will undoubtedly need a feature back to take the pressure off our new signal caller...but all this is moot! Because our D is going to be the heat!!! #ALLIN

I hope CJ is in Feaster's ear a lot. Sounds like he laid out the ground rules that the kid had to follow to wear the #28. If he continues to mentor Feaster the sky is the limit. I kept waiting to see him get in the open field last year and he was only a step away a few times. Can't wait to see him get loose!

Me too! I just get a feeling that Feaster is going to be tremendous. And I do believe the run game in general will be great. Strong run game and defense, good specialty teams and great coaching (not to mention a terrific fan base) goes an awfully long way.

We have gotten such great players here over the past decade, we sometimes forget even the very gifted ones need time. The fact that Watkins, Wilkens, Lawrence, Watson made impacts early is the exception and not the rule. It is also more than being ready physically. Guys like Ray Ray, who were super stars in high school do not always have the level of maturity that it takes when they are freshmen. I think Feaster is getting exactly what he needs and be terrific.

We truly have some of the most elite coaches in the nation. Reading Coach Elliot's thoughtful explanation of Fiester's growth tells me we have coaches who know how to develop athletes for success at this level and the next. I think we are in the discussion for a long time.
