Monday update: Tigers rusty, still no separation at quarterback

If Cooper and Johnson are making these strides on Bryant, imagine what fall practice will be like. I like Kelly but Cooper and Johnson are better passers.

Coaches learned from Watson that their paychecks hinge on picking the best QB in the country. We hit pay dirt with Watson. Never forget how he drove down and made a TD from his own 11 yard line on his first ever game experience at Georgia. From that moment, every defense in the country had respect for his ability to step up in the pocket and throw the ball straight down the field. Watson made everyone look great.

If they really want a game-like atmosphere...

Mar 27, 2017, 9:05 PM

... why not designate one side of the stadium to pull for the Orange team and one side to pull for the White? I'm sure the fans could get into that.

I was thinking the same thing!***

^ - GREAT IDEA!!

I thought about the last year – they should get each side of the stadium to root for a different team to make the atmosphere more realistic – hopefully a coach reads your comment!

Did Hunter have a good day and look more comfortable and impress him....check.

Did Zerrick have a good day and look more comfortable and impress him....check.

DI'd Kelly have a good day and look more confor table and impress him....no comment, but let's discuss when he didn't last scrimmage start and talk up how he ended.

Now let's add Baylor Spector got a pick six today....hmmm...wondering which QB that sounds like it could have come from??

This kind of makes me think back to the FSU Spring game a few years ago when Winston and Trickett went into the game "battling" for the starting job. However, after the game, the coaches could not hide who the leader clearly was any more and little Clint transferred to another school.

Maybe the reason for no comments by the coaches? Dabo usually prefers starting the most senior type player. He started Stoudt over an NFL player Watson. I hope he's learned his lesson and starts the best qb be it a true freshman or older.
