Master at Work
Death Valley will be open for business again in September, and it will be the playground of the kind of player we've all waited decades to see. When Watson plays, everybody should take notice. Full Story » |

The truth is his humility reflects the true Master he trusts

Each day who gave him the gifts that we see when he plays and he has become a master at work because he trusts the King of Kings to help him make the most of the gifts he has through hard work and faith in the Masters help.
Deshaun is truly a Master at work with no fear when the football is in his hand. I can't wait to see the show he will put on this year on the way to winning a National Championship!!
Go Deshaun and Go Tigers!!

Boyd will have the numbers and he is great in his own rights. But it's not even close when the pressure is on. I'll take 4 over any qb I've seen wear the Orange.

Great QB's
Jun 24, 2016, 11:39 AM

I've long heard the line about the next great QB at Clemson. It was Billy Lucky,Willie Korn and others that were going to be the next best thing to sliced bread .
When I read about Watson all I saw was a skinny kid who had accolades from across the college recruiting range . I figured he was going to be a good QB but would he measure up to Whitehurst,Boyd,Dantzler,Jordon and others who graced the field at Death valley .
Does he measure up...you bet...and more. Like others I thought it would be a long time until we had an offensive weapon that would rival CJ or Sammy. Deshaun is their equal and even more in my opinion .

Last year's season proved DW is special. But watching him warm up before the ACC Championship Game further solidified that in my mind. We were sitting in the end zone, so we had a perfect view of his warm up. He stood at midfield and repeatedly threw to a receiver standing on the goal line. The receiver never had to move, not his arms, not his legs, not one inch. This happened over and over and over. And he seemed to do it effortlessly. It was a joy to watch.

What a classy young man! Clemson is all the better because of his skills and leadership. We will miss him after his days at Tigertown, but we will be watching him on Sunday. We are privy to claim him as our son!
