I also liked the way he turns his head around on coverage. Great special team work. If you squint your eyes a little, he tackles an awful lot like someone else we know.

Great news. I never had seen him play, but he is a very gifted athlete and a real head hunter as a LB. Also, this might help us keep BV on staff at Clemson for a while. Nice 2-for with this young man.

My brother-in-law coached against Daniel during Jake's sophomore season in the playoffs. He turned the heads of their entire offensive coaching staff and caused havoc in the flats. Given some of the issues we've had playing contain and covering on the 5-10 yd outside routes when safeties are playing deep coverage, JV's ability to drop into coverage will be a nice addition to our LB corps.
