There are standing in the shadows whispering about how deserving Clemson is to be describe as WRU bc Clemson has some of the best WR's in the country, and how our coaches just reload at the WR position year after year. Those Clemson Tigers are some bad men with a H&ll of a FB team.

I think the newer WR are going to have to step forward and show that they are ready. Don't be surprised if Dabo talks them down a bit this spring -- he did the same thing with the defense this past off-season.
We'll know what we've got come the September gauntlet.

Well they won't lack talent. A 215 to 220 lbs Overton is a tough matchup for any db. I think he'll make a strong push in the spring and fall camps.

Overton/Powell, Higgins/Rodgers are like clones of each other. We are goin to have two 6'5" wideouts with incredible speed and two slot guys with a lot of muscle. Who can cover that???

I don't think the RB position for next year will be anything to worry about. Fuller ran well the second half of the season. Feaster will get his opportunity. And Choice is still in the mix for added depth. The 2018 year will be something to watch out because of depth may be a concern. But I am sure that the coaches have/will have a plan in place.

"what ever the coaches want" mentality...but I am not sold on Fuller.

^^^Not sure why you are NOT sold on Fuller. He's done everything that's been asked of him. No - he's not a C J Spiller type of RB, but he is solid IMO. And - he catches the ball as well as any RB CLEMSON has had in a long time. I am satisfied with Fuller. He doesn't need to be the one that wins the games for us, and he won't be the one that loses a game for us. If he's the best we have, we will still win with him.

Ray Ray McCloud is a clone of Artavis Scott with regard to their individual game. I think you are spot on and 34 moves to the slot. Does the flip pass, reverses and fly sweep type stuff.

While i agree that RRM will be used much like Scott, I wouldn't go so far as to call him a clone. Tay Scott was more RB than wr imo. He caught the ball fairly well, but more importantly, he was TOUGH and man was that kid strong. RRM seemed to have gotten a little stronger, but still wasn't a real tough tackle to be honest. Still, another off season of S&C, plus some hard earned lessons hopefully will get him engaged to use the talents we have all seen him flash at times. Go Tigers!

Love this story about Overton! It really puts your mind at ease to know the WR group is as deep and talented as it is. Having a relatively in tact OL coming back and quality WR should mean we can run it when we need to. Plus, when the QB has to throw it he has playmakers who will step up. Story is about WR's but "if young Overton, Powell, Higgins, Thompson" can step up and be the players they were recruited to morph in to; the NEW QB should be just fine. Defense is not having to be totally replaced for the 1st time in what 3 years ( 7 back). CU is right back in contention if the guys who are going to fill in are playmakers! Kids pretty much do not get an invite to join if they are not; is the good news!
