I caught that little teaser but what had me worried was his comment that he "called" the coaches Wednesday but since Venables was at his school on Wednesday why did he have to call?? That's how over analysing everything keeps me stressed!

Just wondering... did he have any connection to Clemson? Or his parents? Or even to the state of SC?
Always wonder how much they knew about CU before recruiting started (certainly they knew of us due to success... but just wondering if any other connections).
Just amazes me when a little ole school in upper Pickens is able to go into a "distant" state and pick up a guy.

As a resident of PA and avid Clemson supporter, it’s great this young man chose a program that brings all the intangibles to the table. Lots of quality players in this state and a good brand of football being played. Kudos to all involved. Some of the other Clemson coaches need to pay closer attention to recruiting in my home state. many good players from Pa and have sort of gotten away from that. Nice if Pa and Tidewater Va return as recruiting grounds. Lots of good players

Interesting stat from first round of the NFL draft yesterday, 14 of the 32 taken were 3 Stars or lower coming out of high school. So, I'm saying there's a chance.....

Looks pretty good.
Definitely one of those hybrid linebacker-safety types everybody wants these days. Seems very natural in space, can get out of the wash near the line, then absolutely plants the ballcarrier. Athletic, rangy, covers ground pretty well.
I don't see that Doberman-like closing speed Dorian O'Daniel had but he seems more comfortable in space than DoD did, too. Otherwise similar player for the same position.
Looks like he could be a 2+ year starter. Definitely looks like he'll contribute.

Now not only would Fuller have to bless someone wearing #4 again and put "Fuller" on the shoulder, but I would think Watson earned the right to also have a vote and "Watson" would go on the other shoulder. I'm sure he's a fine person and a good player, but prolly not gonna get two thumbs up on pulling that #4 out again.

How long before Jake H commits. I’m sure he’s coming with his bud. Be curious how close he was with the Kralls if at all. Same stomping ground.
I definitely see him redshirt and contribute as rs sophomore but could be rs freshman. Kids got football smarts per CBV. Great pickup Tigers. Welcome home Keith!
