I think Fields will grab the boundary spot by end of August Camp. I also think we will see Xavier Kelly in some capacity when he gets on campus. Clelin Ferrell is going to be a BEAST mark my words.

This is the group that will determine natl champ potential

No pressure right? We know the Offense will bring it against the very best. We've seen it against Bammer in natl championship game. This means coaches will have less leeway to play the senior/junior must-play game at season start.
Dexter Lawrence and frosh/sophs that can bring it should and IMHO will be given early PT. Way back when, I loved the way the original Bruise Brothers, sr. William Devane and true freshman William Perry manned the Nose Guard position in the 1981 natl championship season. They did it with lots of comradery, and both were college stars. With a lot of work and a little luck, hopefully we will see that type of season again in 2016. Go Tigers!

I wonder how many changes there will be by the end of the summer...
Anyone heard anything good / bad about Boulware's shoulder issue by the way? I noticed he was still wearing the brace all Spring.

to include one important criterion in your article.
Would you be an angel and add "Degree of Surprise" to your analysis (for each position)? Use the following descriptions, or feel free to come up with your own:
*That is no surprise *I was surprised *I was not surprised *I was a little surprised *That is a slight surprise

The new recruits don't arrive until summer... They haven't been analyzed in practice yet. Have to wait for the "post-summer depth chart" for those guys.

That front 4 is as freaky athletic for their size as maybe any front ever at CU IMO. We all know what Wilkins can do as starting DE at his weight. Watkins is a monster inside! With the talent we have on campus, the fact we have a fresh. starting at the other end should tell us something about CF. Dexter is going to wreck havoc from day one with his athleticism and size. As long as CBV is here, we're going to be really good on D for a long time with this talent.

BUT!! the biggest thing I see here is, we need an upgrade in the secondary. I think we'll see some of that when Simmons and Mullen arrive in the summer. But that needs to continue in the 2017 class as well. Going into the 2016 season, I see our offense having to outscore our opponents until the defense gets settled in.
