in the season. This is not based on any statistical data..... But FSU seems to always get better as the season progresses

I would like for whoever will be our starting QB to have more than 2 starts before then. At least Athens will be a wakeup...

We have more to work on this year with new personnel than they do. I'm guessing we will probably see more improvement as the season progresses than they will as a result.

We will progress more the first few weeks than FSU.

I expect that game to be Chad's coming out party. I think our coaches may be able to hide a two QB system and break it out in this game.
They can't prepare for what they haven't seen. I know it's risky but Chad has the confidence to handle it, IMO. If FSU is truly stunned as I suspect Chad's confidence will soar early and it could be something they can't adjust to during a game.
If our defense improves as much as I expect there's a good chance we could vault toward the top of the polls with a healthy win.
No, I'm not a pothead but I still get flashbacks from the 60's.

awesome schedule, especially getting FSU early as they swapped DC's with UGA.. If we can get past the first month unscathed, it would give us 2 months in the top 5 before we are challenged again.

If we can eliminate turnovers in big games no reason we

can't go 11-1. I don't see us beating a Winston led FSU team on the road. UGA will be breaking in a new qb just like us although that will be the 2nd toughest game. I just don't see us losing to USC this year. I felt we were better team last year for the first time in a long time but you can't beat a good team on the road with 6 turnovers. Louisville at home will be tough. Also don't think an improving BC team on the road or UNC will be layups. Still Dabo has been very good the last 2 years as a favorite and we'll be favored in 9 or 10 games next year. Double digit wins is the standard now.

Unfortunately, I think we'll be 1-2 after the first 3 games.

Can't see us beating Georgia in Athens, nor Florida State in Tallahassee. In Athens, that will be the first game breaking in new offensive players at QB, RB, WR, LT and RG. Too much to ask for. I don't think we'll be able to outscore Gurley and company. Their QB is new, but at least has two games under his belt. AND, the game is on the road.
As far as Florida State, again it's a road game against a LOADED team, with the Heisman winner starting at QB, new or old WRs out the wazoo, same for running backs, same for skill position players every year at that school. They always have a great defense, no matter who the DC is.
I just can't see us taking either one of those teams that early in the year with all of the new replacement parts that we have going in.
