Sound advice. I thought I had learned that lesson, but the Elite 8 run followed by the success this season made me believe again. I’ll keep my higher standards for football and baseball. Clemson basketball will always leave you disappointed. No conference championships and can’t even make a run at it with our best team in 40 years.

Not even close. Clemson football is filled with success. 3 national titles and countless conference titles. I’ve sat through disappointment with Clemson football. Being a Clemson football fan in the 90s and 00s was rough. We just won a conference title last year. Basketball has NEVER won it.

I’m not saying it’s an equal comparison. Just that I’ve been often frustrated by football in the last 5 years.

Being beat by far inferior teams plagued us recently.
