But dang. He just canned his OC after what has to be one of the most underachieving seasons in the history of college athletics. He definitely showed a bit of backbone that he always seems to be missing. Also, Phil Longo would be a great OC there in that system. I’m glad his name is going on the list.

At least Jimbo had the guts to make a change? Sometimes I wonder if people on this board actually watch college football. It's Jimbos offense and he calls the plays. I am sure Jimbo is catching all kind of grief for trying to pawn that move off from the Aggie fans.

I would love to see Longo at Clemson! Unless he has some baggage I am not aware of.

And, before someone goes there, I am not calling for anyone's job from a message board. It's message board talk.

With that hopefully being understood; "I think he would do big things at Clemson;if he were to come"!

A couple of key points:

Aggies coach Jimbo Fisher has called plays for the offense in each of the last five seasons

Texas A&M has fired offensive coordinator and tight ends coach Darrell Dickey after *five years with the program*, the university announced Monday. The dismissal clears the way for a potential offensive coordinator who will call plays under coach Jimbo Fisher, who enters a critical *offseason* for the Aggies ahead of 2023.
