Need a Clemson insurance person for supplemental insurance

Jan 3, 2023, 2:49 PM

GO TIGERS!!! Just turned 65 and need a Clemson person that is an agent to advise me what to do as far as getting supplemental insurance. Clemson people haven't let me down yet so here I go again. Thanks -- (I know, wrong board)

AARP United Health Care Plan G. The most you will ever pay per year for medical costs will be $226. It replaces Plan F which is no longer available for those now turning 65. Plan F paid everything with no out of pocket costs. I have had hundreds of thousands of dollars medical bills due to cancer and surgeries and cancer treatments. Never paid one penny with medicare and Plan F supplemental. No co pays. Went to any doctor I wanted to see with no pre approval for anything. Monthly premiums are high, but worth it.

I don't sell insurance, just use it. Wife has same policy with same results.

Get a Medicare Supplement Plan F. Covers everything and has a LTC benefit

I have plan F and it is the best plan you can get but it is only eligible for those who turned 65 before 2020. It is no longer available for anyone who turned 65 after 2020. Medicare made the insurance companies quit offering it. So plan G is the replacement and is now the best plan you can get unless you were eligible for medicare before 2020.
