Crazy as it may sound, with their joke of a schedule, they may only for certain lose to us and UGA. They may lose to Kentucky or FL. That would give them another 9-3 season. Then, Cuschamp may be hired at LSU after they fire their coach. These SEC coaches all like to jump around every 2 or 3 years to other SEC schools.

LOL. Even if he loses 2-3 (which I concede is possible), nobody will hire him after what happened in Florida. He was a hire of last resort for chicken tech.
Best scenario for us is if they keep him. They will have a tougher schedule in 2019. That's when Muscoot's seat will warm up.

Pretty sure at the end of the season, we will be getting ready to play a couple of top 5 teams in the college football playoff. While your team is getting ready for the Shreveport Bowl.

Are you including our conference championship game and two playoff games? Yes, there is a game at the end of the season that pits the two division leaders in a game called a conference championship. You should watch one sometime. Also, and stay with here because this is going to confuse you... there is a four team playoff at the end of the season... we play those games also. Don't worry, you can watch them in HD, they televise them all.

Their schedule is so soft they are likely to win 8-9 games this season. FWIW I think he has done a reasonable job given the dumpster fire he inherited. I was expecting him to blow his lid like at Auburn but has stayed reasonably calm.

He is exactly what they deserve. Nothing more than hired gun that thinks he is too good to be at their crappy school. He wants to win just enough to stay relevant and then jump to a better situation. A former kicker from Lexington High School recently transferred to USuC. When Chump asked him exactly where Lexington was, the player responded by saying the same county where you live. They guy isn’t even bought in enough to know where he lives.

if he dos not win 10 games this year, and they are serious about their program, he should be put on notice. This is far and away the most experienced team he has had there in a very weak division.

Actually, given their schedule, the Coots could back in to 10 wins w/a shot at an 11th if they get a favorable match-up in a bowl. Just sayin' ...

And just like last year, they'll get absolutely crushed by Georgia and Clemson, the only teams on their schedule with half a pulse!
For the second year in a row they miss Alabama, Auburn, LSU AND Ole Miss. They'll be second best in the worst division in football with the world's most misleading record. Again.

The chickens play at Ole Miss! That is a game they should lose! BAMA comes calling in 2019 so GC fans can actually experience what Clemson has been playing against in the CFP for multiple years!
It will be fun to see Saban kick Muscrap and crew all the way to the curb.

I also think they missed their window of opportunity to seize control of what is arguable the weakest among all of the Power 5 divisions.
The East has been down (OK...WAY DOWN) and they've not had to face the best teams from the West (Alabama, Auburn, and LSU), yet they still couldn't win the Division.
Georgia is clearly the best team in the East and Florida and Tennessee are improving. Alabama reappears on their schedule starting in 2019, followed by LSU in 2020, and Auburn in 2021.
What does that mean for the Capons? Enjoy your last 9 win season and yet another appearance in the Outback Bowl for quite a while. Starting in 2020, it's back to 7 or 8 win seasons and bowl trips to Birmingham or Shreveport.

I've noticed that as well. I think it has to do with them always playing each other early in the season and the fact that SC is fourth or fifth down the pecking order for UGA when it comes to games of importance.

Ok, maybe you are grading by a South Carolina scale, but 3 straight years of double-digit losses to UGA (closest by 14 points). UGA has beat them by a combined 60 points over the last three years. Close???... not really.

This season does feel like a it's a make or break year for Mushchamp. Anything less than 8 wins and the noise from the naysayers will become deafening, especially if he gets 5-peated by us, UK & ATM.
I think SC is in a no win situation with Muschamp long term...If he wins 9 plus this year he will likely be a top candidate for a bigger job like LSU, Auburn, Michigan, etc if they're available. If he loses 4 or more the doubts about his head coaching ability will be validated, recruiting will suffer and the coots will back to 3-9 in a couple years.
