Spiking the ball on 1st down with 31-seconds left. A penalty that adds another 5.

2nd and 15. Momentum and tempo broken.

No timeouts-

Call a quick pass in bounds…designed to be in bounds on 2nd And 15.

Then what? Cade the Magic Tiger is supposed to wave his magic arm?

Then a rushed mistake. And it’s Cade’s fault??



Do I have it right??

What team are you now coaching?
Did Tigers make blunders tonight--yes. Did they play well enough to be in a tugh game with a very good team in spite of mistakes? Yes.
You obviously should have been upstairs in the press box, tonight.

Not going to do the passive aggressive BS with you.

This is an obvious scenario. With 31-seconds near the red zone the whole paly book is open even without timeouts.

You just got a first down. Cloak stopped. You don’t spike the ball. You call a play. The paly is designed to preserve the clock; rollout, swing pass, quick out. You don’t spike the ball. That is not wise.

2nd down. Oopsy 5-yd penalty.

You call, call an in bounds pass on your next play.

Me in the booth?? Me in the booth?

If I’m there we really have problems.
