We need to keep the talented freshman happy and learning on the field more than the guys that haven’t produced much over the years. I just don’t trust other teams not to try to poach them. I’d also like to see Wesco deep over the top.

I wouldn’t worry about that too much. If they’re going to get “poached,” the fact they get to score two or three more touchdowns for Clemson won’t make them stay anymore than not scoring them. If they are going to get “poached” after one year, there isn’t any keeping them and that it proves to be a miss in recruitment.

Saturday's and would be just as happy riding the bench. Which in turn would make the blue chippers an obvious choice of coaches looking to tamper and turn the pair.
