Blown coverages, PI that luckily hasn’t been called. Any team with a better QB and receiving Corp would’ve had a field day against our secondary.

1st team offense was great & play calling was balanced. Trevor looked as sharp as ever. DLine looked to be on fire early but slowed down a bit when they went to 3 man fronts to help the DB’s. Gotta get that secondary straightened out but I imagine that BV will fix that. Overall I’m really excited about what this team can do!

Suratt would have torched these guys. They let people get behind them and then grab them. Never ever ready to make a play on the ball.

I think there's talent there, but really young and inexperienced talent. Hopefully it'll naturally get better as season goes on.
You've gotta remember we lost 3 out of 4 starters to NFL and the one remaining starter didn't play tonight.
I'm not trying to say they played great because I never thought they looked that good tonight, but give it a little time

We don't play Pitt till the end of Nov.
Look I get it the secondary needs work, I'm not saying they don't. I was simply saying I think we've got the pieces there to be a really good secondary. When you don't have a single returning starter playing it's gonna look like that early on. I'm simply saying the sky isn't falling

I think it looks alot different with DK out there but def some work in progress in secondary. Had some miscommunications but that gets cleaned up soon, the young talent just needs some live film sessions.

Right and because of that, I have no problem with the secondary play for the first half. They actually made some good plays, individual plays. But when the rest of the starters left the game in the second half, that went it went ugly.

Last week and this week.. everyone is "shaky"
Oklahoma blew out a division two school and texas beat up on poor UTEP other then that everyone struggled at some point.
at least three defensive starters out for us last night.
Citadel next week and a bye after we will be fine.
