Ya’ll see that throw by Miller Moss with 17 seconds to go in the first half. 25 yard rope from 40 yd line to 35. Impossible for cade to make that pass. Does not have the arm strength.
Comparing Miller Moss and cade, it’s not a matter of development. One of them has the physical tools to throw a rope and one doesn’t.

When does Clemson attack the middle of the field? When in the last 6 years? Bc it's really been nothing but hashmark and out for 6 years now in the passing game.

We yhrow short to the middle. But we don’t throw down field to the middle. When we throw down field, it’s a wounded duck rainbow jump ball.
Defensive coordinators are laughing at Clemson’s offense.

Sideways pass (wasted play), slant on third down two yards short of first down (great Clemson tradition), back shoulder sideline (most of the time out of bounds), and fade into the corner of the end zone (most of the time overthrown). Oh and I forgot about throwing it into the stands when panic sets in and throwing it into the ground while being tackled with no receiver in the area. Where is Nealon Greene when you need him?

If true, then why did we recruit him and make him our starter?

And why don’t we have anyone better?

I recognize this sometimes we recruit studs and they don’t pan out. See DJ. See cade.
We stuck with DJ one year too long.
Looks like we are sticking with cade one year too long. After what I saw yesterday, I think the coaches should’ve moved on from cade at the end of last season. The dude has a weak arm. Cannot throw down field.

Cade threw a 50+ yard pass to Cole, but Cole quit. He threw a 39 yard pass to Antonio, but Randall lined up wrong .

He can throw a ball 40 yards, but it’s always a high arching rainbow. It takes so long for the ball to get there it usually ends up being under thrown allowing a third string cornerback to close on our WR that had been open seconds earlier.
When was the last time you saw cade throw a rope beyond 10 yards? Never. And it’s not gonna happen because he can’t.
We are playing offense w a short field and opposing defensive coordinators are laughing.

Yes, Cade doesn’t posses a strong arm, but his biggest issues are that he doesn’t see the field well and can not process quickly enough. He lacks any anticipation and holds the ball way too long. He just doesn’t have it. Nice kid, just not an elite enough QB to take this team to where we all want it to go.
