It's because of the rheumatoid arthritis medication he takes. It really helps RA patients.

I've had RA since 2005; methotrexate has worked well

for 11 years except in cold and/or damp weather,
extreme fatigue, stress, or a combo. If it quits
working, i might try Enbrel since it seems to
work well for Mickelson. Wish i could land a
TV ad or have a good stroke, golf that is. :)

Methotrexate and naproxen since 2005. Wiening off of it now as an experiment.
Seeing my RA doc on Monday. I don't have RA, what I have jumps around and screws with the tendon sheaths in joints.
