We now have clarification that the tiebreak is conference opponents CONFERENCE win %, not OVERALL win % (per TNET).

CFP is based on this week's AP rankings.

Thanks for the poast. Also, despite what some people might think, Margin of Victory does not play into it. If anyone has watched Clemson games during the last 10 years, the better our team is, the more garbage points we give up. Garbage points has never held us back.

Because of the subjective "eye test" that at least done if the playoff committee members use.

If we win ACC were automatically the 3 or 4 seed. If we don't win we probably don't deserve to be in. So no margin of victory doesn't matter

Margin of Victory does not play into the eye test either. You're under the impression that all they do is look at the score and that's it. They don't. They actually watch film of the games and then they also have what's called a Game Control statistic. They see that the points came in garbage time and not when the game was in question.
