That was during the George Floyd riots. Covid didn't really have anything to do with it. I don't know how many of those guys are National Guard vs. local cops, but I doubt that Walz ordered them to do that. Minneapolis PD has been a useless bunch of thugs for a long time.

It's funny to see right-wingers on Twitter acting horrified by this video when most of them were cheering on that kind of behavior from the cops back in 2020 during the BLM protests. They wanted protesters to be shot with rubber bullets, if not real ones, but now paintballs are fascism?

Just goes to show what a bunch of thugs the police are in Minneapolis. Many of them hate the city and anyone who lives in it. As far as they're concerned, those people on the porch aren't much better than the rioters. It's almost like George Floyd was just the last straw for some people.

Most of them were just protesters. Plenty of people got shot with rubber bullets just for walking down the street, or for holding a camera or a sign.
