This is what the NCAA wanted - talk about NCAA football year round, #### the morality of it all.
It wasn’t enough to “earn” NIL $ at your original university.
It’s about greasing the hands of athletes, and NCAA officials.
The new std is cash in now…..who can blame these kids.
There are no adults left at the NCAA.

Tbh I thought he had a spectacular freshman season and expected big things from him but felt he just declined after that imo. Hate to lose any starter but I don’t think this one hurts us IMHO.

My guess he was all set to go to TX even before he entered the portal. He waited a couple of weeks, listed some other schools, and then announced to make it look good.
It’s a shame because it wasn’t like he wasn’t playing here. He was a quality starter on a team with all the foundation to do well and give him everything to achieve in the future. Although this is the one position it won’t hurt us that he’s gone….
The only excuse would be hometown proximity, but if that’s the case, he’d had stayed there out of high school….
Unfortunately, the system is HEAVILY weighted towards the kids and not in favor of the stability of the programs. There has to be a balance.
Even my job, if I break the contract, has a buy-out or non-compete. Nothing of the sort here.
It’s the wild, Wild West with no consequences…

Our jobs are not sports leagues that depend on fans to pay the bills. Completely different ballgame. Right now it is ok to transfer to the highest bidder.
All fine and dandy for you right now CFB until you eliminate 70% of your viewership at some point due to a severely top heavy system with lack of competition and no hope outside of the big money schools that no one cares about. When you lose the hope of next year you lose the fans.

Very disappointed in some fans comments, yes we are disappointed he is leaving but we need to be glad for what he gave to us. Best to him. These comments doesn't help in our recruiting star players!!!!!!!
