Manhandle? Hardly. They had 350 yards total. They averaged less than 4 yards per rush. Was Clemson good? Nope. But our defense was. This was all on the offensive line and play calling.

They didn’t come close to manhandling our d. D wasn’t perfect but played very well against the best qb in cfb

They didn’t manhandle our dline. They schemed around us knowing we would win a lot of those battles. That’s what all the quick throws and screens were about.

How can we afford to continue to pay the Danny Pearmans, Robbie Caldwells, and all the other coaches who retire yet hand on to the program and draw a paycheck yet can not afford to sign better players?
Let’s stop with notion that the amount of money donated to this program through donors and advertisers doesn’t allow us to compete with a Miami or LSU in player salaries. This isn’t your daddy’s Clemson as far as money brought in

Garrett Nussmeier’s average time to throw was 2.14 seconds. The D-line never had a chance to get pressure because they schemed around the potential mismatch upfront with quick passes, screens, and misdirection, all things our coaching staff did not install to help out Klubnik and the offense when LSU’s front seven started dominating

There’s a video I watched that had Peter Woods absolutely destroying a guard on a stretch play. The play was going to Woods gap. He had it filled. The running back went to cut it back inside and Woods throws the guard to the ground hits the running back causing him to spin around and cleaned up by a backer for no gain.
