Kim Mulkey won a Natty in her second year. Jay Johnson is about to win a Natty in his second year. Great job by the LSU AD in his hires.

Maryland. The baseball teams best pitcher, best reliever, and best power hitter were all on other D1 teams last year. Great job by LSU’s collective in shopping off of other teams’ rosters. They have the best sports teams money can bayou.
P.S. in case you weren’t paying attention Mulkey also poached Louisville’s best player and ACC POY to transfer to her team for next year.

They appear to have more rich boosters. Heck the founder of Raising Cane’s spent $30K buying Jell-O shots just so his team would win a stupid contest at an Omaha bar. Wonder how much he spends helping them buy players so they can win actual games.

Texas A&M and Miami both have rich booster that have bought players. Neither football team has produced results. Love her or hate her, Kim Mulkey can flat out coach. I do not know much about the baseball coach.

About coaching why didn't she go run the program at her Alma mater la tech? They've won two natties and been to 10 final 4s; they have tremendous tradition. It's because you can't win titles anymore unless you're somewhere that has the resources to buy players. Also they can pay her a sheet ton more than la tech.

history of winning MULTIPLE Nattys, you can poach from other programs.
With two Nattys under his belt, Dabo could probably do the same. But, he chooses to build Clemson from the inside out, and personally, I prefer that method. You SHOULD be able to win Nattys in whatever sport, if you have gone out and bought the best players from other teams. But, it does not always work out that way. (Hello, Bimbo Fisher!) LSU is on a roll right now, but imagine the pressure that winning two Nattys in other sports is putting on Brian Kelly right now!

This will be Kelly’s second season. His situation was mentioned last night during the baseball game’s broadcast. Kelly will need to win a Natty pretty soon or will be shown the door. After he is fired, we will see if he still has his southern drawl.
