I think Schieffelin is an NBA kind of a guy ...

His style of play is ... "NBA like". He gets his body in there, more often than not in perfect position , gets the rebound. He doesn't shoot much, but when he does, vast majority of the time the ball goes through the hoop, resulting in points, THE key for any game (score more points than the opponent ...) have yet to see him foul out so he's doing it clean (then again I have not watched every game).
Don't want to write a tome, but that's what the NBA wants ... your either a flashy guy like Curry or your a work-horse, in the trenches, like a Football lineman, where the nitty gritty is done ... Schieffelin is the latter.
NBA likes that.

But needs to be about 4 inches taller for his style.

I love what Scheff brings to our team as well, but a 6'-8" guy has got to be pretty explosive to play inside in the NBA, or have a great 3-pt shot and be able to get open to play on the perimeter. There's not much of an in-between game anymore. I'm not sure he's quite there either way.

Not even close and not a slim chance. I bet he could do fairly well abroad somewhere. There ks still a lot of money to be made abroad. That would be a pretty nice life. Make 15 milion over a career and then go on to his next faze of life. You can tell in interviews that he has a great personality. He will have a good life.

I think you are right. I love his game, but the NBA is all about offense, eight guys standing around while two play one on one. I have not watched it in a long time and decided to watch for a few minutes a few days ago. I was not disappointed ...... all offense. Seems like a good game for Europe, where I think they might like his abilities much more than here. I hope I am wrong!

Contrary to urban myth, 68 is above average height for a NBA forward.

Also, as we know NBA is trending away from sole attribute of being really tall as being the THE key virtue. The ability to walk and chew gum at the same time is seen as THE key.

Ben Wallace. Worthy. Avery Johnson.
He can find a way if they can.

No. Not even simikar and there is slim to no chance of him sticking in the NBA.
