Tigers in Volleyball tonight in the newly renovated Jervey Gym...Down 2 sets to none coming back and winning 3-2(20-25,21-25,25-19,25-23,15-8)...Back at it again tomorrow night at 6:00 in Jervey for the Palmetto Series showdown against South Carolina,GO TIGERS!!!!

It would have been a very crappy night had Volleyball not won the very first game in the new Jervey Gym and what also would have been a 0 for 2 night for women's sports with Soccer losing earlier in the night...Nice comeback and can't wait until tomorrow night to see the Tigers carry the momentum over to the South Carolina match and beat the Gamecocks to get a big point in the Palmetto Series competition...Oh by way isn't it nice to finally have a new raised ceiling and return serves won't ever doink off of it again like the old Jervey Gym

Yes it is. I was pretty furious with the team going down 0-2 and ks actually had the momentum in the 3rd set.

Some of our service errors were inexcusable and our kill shots blasted out the gym. Yes, quick turnaround but it shouldn't be an excuse for poor play tomorrow. We should actually feed off the momentum of coming back 3 straight sets.

I get we have some new pieces, but we're 10 games in if you count the exhibition games. Hopefully just over hyped with the new digs... but Kerr has been around 7 years now. 4th as hc. She's recruited well. Time for that recruited talent to start paying dividends. Kinda like Brad, time to make the next step and make the ncaa tournament.

I was thinking the same thing about the service errors. We weren't making them work for points. Then inexplicably we ran off 6 straight points to win the 4th set and tie it up. I think that took the wind out of KS sails.
