Looks like we will be playing a 11 and 1 UNC.

We should beat them by 17 plus even though they are much improved.

They get Duke in Chapel Hill and Duke can't score enough to keep up with UNC.

We will beat them handily. The same for Duke, if it's them, instead.

After tonight UNC will definitely be in the top 25 come Monday. If they win out they will probably be near the top 15 hopefully.

That is assuming a bit much....

They will drop at least one between now and then. They still have to play Duke and have road games at Va. Tech (who got their QB back) and N.C. State. And who knows what Miami will be like for them?

None of those teams can really score, VaTech is just awful.

season progresses. Even the Ole Ball Sac admitted the Cawks were lucky to win that game. That loss is what has kept the Heels from being ranked to this point.
That being said, if it comes to pass, UNC vs Clemson for all the marbles has a good old fashioned ACC ring to it.

That's now how it worked last year with OSU.

It's not the loss that keeps them so low in the rankings it's the teams they've beaten. IMO, the same teams that got OSU ranked highly by the 8th game last year are about the same as UNC have beaten.

They were 13th last year at 7-1 in week 10 and beat MSU

that week to move up to 8th. The big difference though is that last year lots of teams had losses. Only 3 unbeaten power 5 teams by week 8 - Miss St, FSU, Ole Miss. There was a huge cluster of 1 loss teams and OSU was in the middle of it.

UNC is a real threat. They have athletes at all positions, I think they are top 3 in the ACC with us and FSU. They will not be bullied with a power running game, have a stud power RB in Hood, and a great little receiver. QB play is where they live or die at present, and without 3 end zone Ints, the coots would have been destroyed. They can stand toe to toe with Clemson or FSU, I hope the moment is too big for their QB if they play us and he has a repeat 3 int game. That game scares me more than FSU, but I do think we'll win it.

I don't think they are good enough to go unbeaten down

the stretch. I do think they are the best team in the coastal (better than Duke) and they may even be favored in all of their games, but they have a few tricky ones left and i would be surprised if they didn't stumble somewhere.

turnovers in that game. UNC's 3 turnovers were INTs at SC's 6, 21, and 8. Even if they only kicked a couple FGs on those possessions they would've won.

is the most likely opponent
{i like the Heels' chances}
but i doubt either team wins out... likely to make at least one stumble in the conference.. so the winner of that game would own the tie-breaker
neither team should test the Tigers very much, although the Heels could score some points

Dear Santa

If you can make this happen, UNC in Charlotte, then you can cross off the 2015 Ferrari tdf's 769hp V-12 motor car I asked for.
I would rather have UNC in Charlotte for my present instead!
Thank you Santa
