It would have taken 99% of all other off. coordinators 12 games to realize Clemson needed to run the ball more often due to lack of pass protection, WR’s, and QB. Tony Elliott figured it out after 10 games.

Exactly. Elliot is no doubt a great guy but play calling was horrible imo. RUN THE BALL… decides to throw 3 straight downs from the 5 against GA. Are you serious? I still cannot believe it.

Oh man, almost forgot about that. It was the single worst play calling moment of the season. Those 3 plays changed the trajectory of the 2021 season

if Elliot does come back hope to see more of the two back look. Coots had no answer for it and should work well against lesser programs like them. 
Hopefully we get Etienne or a 4th RB

Poindexter hired as HC at UVA makes sense. Comes from coaching ranks at Penn State. Plus, "Poindexter had a legendary playing career as a Cavalier. In 40 games played at safety, the Lynchburg, Va. native grabbed 12 interceptions and was a two-time All-American selection. UVA retired his No. 3 jersey back in 2009, and he was inducted as a member of the College Football Hall of Fame’s 2020 class."
