Looks like Shakin the Southland has run out of things to

Dec 18, 2013, 2:33 PM

talk about... again.

No FigureFour (sorry I have to do this), we probably don't want to read about your personal thoughts / definition of apathy is, with a nice photo of an out of context Clemson player getting tackled by a coot player 1 week before Chistmas and 2 weeks before we play a better Ohio State team that just came off of a 24 game win streak.

And no, I don't feel that makes me 'apathetic.'

Such a shame, because I felt their coverage was getting better for awhile.

Why would you post this? You say you find it boring and its an article that no one would want to read but you're driving traffic to it. Which is one metric bloggers use to determine what their readers want...

Personally I like having both Shakin the Southland and Tigernet since they often give very different viewpoints.

They are more influential than most on Tigernet would ever admit, mainly because they are diametrically opposed communities in a lot of ways.

A lot of people on T-Net wouldn't be caught dead over there and vice versa. So it's kind of a pizzing contest between how many times T-Netters can question their credibility and how many times STS can question the average T-netters critical reasoning skills.

I'm not sure I would apply the term 'logic' to either forum

however I do think the Tnet press is much better at reporting straight up news and updates which is primarily how I end up here more often it seems.

I didn't say boring. I just didn't see anything better on

STS, as in your face as it usually is, will tell it how it is most of the time. It is a nice mix.

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Their stat comparisons and scheme breakdowns are enjoyable

to read, sometimes.

I frequent STS quite a good bit, I like to get perspective

Dec 18, 2013, 4:00 PM

on criticisms of the football team without being chastised on tigernet and being called a coot by the whole forum. I think its a good mix, I think they know a lot about football but I think they expect too much from Clemson and expect us to be Alabama or Lsu.

Thanks for your input FigureFour

We don't care what you think.

STS is great

Good analysis, critical takes, and good dialogue in the comments section. The fans that post there aren't sensitive, are honest, and respectful of others' views. I thoroughly enjoy the site.
