the same. Clemson at 5-5 is no better than a 3-7 coot team. They have been more battle tested and it is at home, so give them the edge. Our clown show staff will get cute, bungle game planning, and generally screw up any chances. Don’t see it going well. This will be coot bowl game, so they will bring it. I hate them more than most, but don’t see a win there. Hopefully the coots pull a FSU or Louisville and help us out.

Our teams appear to be fairly even. Hopefully they will make plenty of mistakes to help us win. But I actually am not really looking forward to it. If we win, it is expected and life goes on. If we lose, it is SEC this SEC that, but mostly I hate losing to them in anything.

huge advantage for Sellers to run and get the first. I expect that routinely. The only way I see where we can stay in it is if he wants to throw a bunch of passes to try to up his transfer cred. But if Sellers decides that he's going to be run first then it will be a long day. We essentially need them to screw up. I think we can score some but it'll be tough to keep them from controlling the clock.

Sorry to say but coots look bigger faster more physical and more length than is. All the things our coaches say we need. Their O line does not seem to do well is the biggest deficit I see on them. They have played with the very best teams in the country but have found a way to lose. Hopefully they will have some to opt out and not play with a lot of enthusiasm. They are favored to win in most services. It is probably their game to lose. They have closed the gap talent wise big time on us.

For whatever reason, we have played better in Columbia that we have at home so I don't see a problem playing there. The OL that does the best job will win the game and we need to score early and often against Furman so we can get our starters on the sideline and not get anybody else hurt.

I suppose they’ll beat Coastal.
I suppose they have a couple of ‘good losses’, but also got destroyed multiple times.
The whole ‘battle tested’ thing is an eye roller.
We (Clemson) have been better on the road this year. Our wins over Louisville & FSU are better than any of their wins.
Sure, we could lose (this season that applies to any week). But we could also win and finish on a nice little streak. Defense may be coming around just a bit…if they do, that gives some hope.

Amen Clemson Paw 81!! What’s wrong with you so called fans. Get behind the Tigers or get lost. The game won’t be played til next Saturday. Gotta beat Furman first. They gotta beat Coastal first. Plenty can happen between now and then. If you’re scared, please go hide now!

Thought we would beat them with our offense controlling the game if we play a B+ game…without the two OL started, especially Jacobs, I don’t know if we will be as effective running the ball. So makes our ability to control the game harder. Not super confident given this, but as others have said, you really don’t know what’s going to happen in this game. I’m behind the Tigers but not feeling awesome about the outcome

Beating South Carolina never turns into a badge of honor, but losing to them makes Clemson look inept.
Clemson fans who are native South Carolinians have NO idea just how irrelevant the gamecocks are outside of our state. Native born folks give the "rivalry" more juice than it deserves.
They're not Auburn, or Ga. Tech, or even NC State. Their football accomplishments are close to zero by comparison. The truth hurts.
Beating South Carolina is like beating Duke. It's better losing...but that's about it.
Their football program is not 'legit" by any objective measure.
Here's to Clemson not beating Clemson like they did last year.

My concern is that Sellers and Harbour match up well against our defensive weaknesses. Our offense is probably going to be it's usual clunky self. I think we probably need to hold them in the teens to win, and i have a feeling our defense is going to give up enough big plays to prevent that from happening. My gut feeling is 27-17 Coots.
