So, no surprise what happened to them in Natty since Wolverines basically shot themselves.

They did deserve to be in over a 2 loss, non conference champ, Bama.

The "Natty" should be a competitive game, if possible. Do you think the exhibition in LA on Monday PM was competitive after UGA's 2nd TD? I don't believe it was and I would wager you neither Bama, OSU, Michigan or Clemson would have lost by 58 points to the repeat champion. It is what it was but that does not suggest TCU was up to being in the game I saw on 1/9/23.

TCU had several nail biters against average teams.

TX Tech had a lead in Q4 vs TCU, but then had an awful call that bailed TCU out of a failed 3rd and forever conversion. TCU was gifted with the 1st down. TCU went on to score TD, momentum changed, and TCU won going away. TCU was the home team.

Baylor ran the ball down TCU’s throat all day (Baylor was a one dimensional run team), but blew a late lead. TCU pulled off a super-hurry up FG (no time outs) to hit game winner FG which passed the uprights after time had expired.

TCU was exciting team, but as far as their overall play, their elite team status was a fraud.

Win vs MI was their best of the year … not unlike S.Carolina’s shocker against TN.
